The Kings Tree

“Your house and your kingdom shall endure before Me forever; your throne shall be established forever.” — 2 Samuel 7:16 (LSB)

In the days of Israel’s kings, God’s people looked for a ruler who would lead with justice and righteousness.

They celebrated victories and endured failures under men like Saul, David, and Solomon—each one flawed, each one longing for the true King.

Through triumph and tragedy, God was writing a greater story: a promise of an eternal King who would reign not from a palace of gold but from a cross of grace.

This tree remembers the crowns that tarnished and the throne that never will.

It points to Jesus—the Son of David, the Lion of Judah, the King of Kings—whose reign is eternal and whose kingdom will never end.

“The Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David… and His kingdom will have no end.” — Luke 1:32–33 (LSB)
