The Shepherd’s Worship Tree

“And the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.’” — Luke 2:10–11 (LSB)

In the fields outside Bethlehem, it wasn’t kings or priests who first heard heaven’s song — it was shepherds.

Ordinary, overlooked, unclean men watching their flocks under a silent sky became the first witnesses of glory.

Their night turned to light, their fear to faith, their labor to worship.

This tree calls us to see ourselves in their story — invited, unworthy, yet chosen to behold and proclaim the Savior.

The Shepherd’s Worship Tree celebrates that God’s good news comes first to the humble — and that worship is the only fitting response.
