The Passover Tree

“When I see the blood, I will pass over you.” — Exodus 12:13 (LSB)
In the land of Egypt, God’s people lived as slaves—
but a night of deliverance was promised.
Each home marked its doorway with the blood of a spotless lamb—
a sign of faith and obedience.
That night, death passed over, and freedom began.
This tree remembers the lamb, the door,
and the God who delivers.
The scarlet ribbon tells of salvation through sacrifice,
and every lamb whispers of a greater Lamb to come—
the One whose blood would free not just a nation, but all mankind.
“Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world.” — John 1:29
