Join the mission

Serve your world  on our upcoming mission trip to The Dominican Republic

CrossPointe is excited to join Pastor Melido and his church in The Dominican Republic as we minister to the local community there.  Join us as we launch a half-day camp for children in the area, repair the roof of a local church in the afternoons!  We will be working alongside the local church and community leaders who are actively managing these initiatives as well as the families who will be impacted by the project we will participate in.

Who can go?
Anyone! This team will be a mixed set of skills and strengths to help where needed.

Age
Anyone over the age of 18

Team Meetings
The team will gather for team meetings to do logistical and project prep but also training on cross-cultural ministry and spiritual prep.  Times and Locations will be communicated by the team leader.

Requirements
A US Passport is required for travel to the Dominican Republic. Each participant who signs up will be asked to complete a full volunteer background check screening. Each team member will also be required to attend all pre-trip preparation meetings. Participants should be physically fit for manual work and long days of being on your feet and walking a lot.

Trip Cost
$1600 per person. Included in this fee: Airfare from America to The Dominican Republic, transportation in-country and room & board while in-country. NOT INCLUDED: PASSPORT FEES, ANY SHOTS YOU ELECT TO GET, AND ANY PERSONAL SPENDING MONEY FOR MEALS DURING TRAVEL AND SOUVENIRS. $250 deposit per person is non-refundable at the time of registration. If a cancellation is made after airline tickets have been purchased you will be responsible for the cost of the ticket.

COVID Info
Currently, there are no COVID restrictions and COVID vaccinations are not required for entry or exit from the country. Due to the ever changing nature of COVID regulations, especially from country to country, this could change . CrossPointe Church will not be held responsible for any delays involved if changes in policies or procedures occur.
