What are your hours of operation?
We are open Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Will lunch be served?
Children will bring their lunch to school each day. Lunches must be able to be kept in a lunchbox during the day. Refrigeration and/or microwaves will not be available to use for lunches.
How old does my child have to be?
Your child must be the appropriate age for the class that they are registering for by September 1st.
Does my child have to be potty trained?
Any child entering into a 3 year old or 4 year old class must be potty trained.
How do you communicate with parents?
We have several different methods of communication. We use emails, text messages (Remind 101), daily communication folders, and parent conferences when needed.
Can parents volunteer?
Yes, Parents can be classroom readers, help with special crafts, and anything else that the teacher might need.
How does drop off and pick up work?
We use a car line drop off and pick up system very similar to those in the public schools. Drop off is between 9:00 and 9:15 a.m. and dismissal is from 12:45 -1:00 p.m. There will be a late fee charged for any late pickups.
What curriculum do you use?
Our curriculum is based off of the ABC, Jesus Loves Me curriculum. Our teachers have worked extremely hard to develop the curriculum for our school to make sure it keeps kids on track with current standards and to prepare them for school, while also teaching them the importance of a relationship with and the love of Jesus Christ.
Do you offer any discounts?
We offer a 10% discount for any active duty military families. A valid military ID must be shown in order to receive the discount.

dpkamp
We are excited to have you join us this year to learn about several "movie stars" of the Bible and how God used them in big ways! DPKamp will be June 6th-10th from 8am-12pm each day! During DPKamp your child will get to dive into their bible studies and also enjoy several fun tracks for the day. We have added SEVERAL new and exciting track options for kids to pick from this year! Here are just a few features and information about our amazing kamp experience:
Ages - Discovery Pointe Kids from age 3 to 5th grade. 3-Year-Old children must be 3 years of age before June 1st and must be potty trained. "Kid Flix" is for children RISING Pre-K through RISING 5th grade - students who have graduated 5th grade may serve in DPKamp.
Time- Doors will open for drop-off at 8:15. Large group time will begin at 8:45. Pickup is at 12:00 Noon and will end at 12:15.
Large Group Worship Times- exciting, high-energy, daily gatherings that will set the tone for the rest of the day. Large group times feature high-energy worship, engaging skits and a message from God’s word!
3 Year Old Kamp: This is a unique kamp experience for 3-year-olds. 3 Year Old Kampers will have large group, small group and snack times in a special environment just for younger kampers. 3 Year Old Kampers must be 3 years of age before June 1st and must be potty trained.
Small-Group Bible Study Times - explore the message shared during large group times. Small groups build a community with age-appropriate content that challenges children to discover who they were made to be in Christ.
Track Times - This feature of DPKamp that allows your child to choose (2) from TEN fun-filled activities that most appeal to them! Whether your child is artistically inclined, an athlete or into learning new things, they're sure to have a blast! Below you will find a list of track times and their descriptions:

Art- Kids will do craft projects each day.

Cooking- Kids will get to create some yummy creations to enjoy each day.

STEM- Kids will do some fun science and STEM themed activities throughout the week.

Music- Kids will learn some fun songs throughout the week. Students signed up for music will perform on Sunday, June 12th at the beginning of both church services.

Kamp Fit- Kids will get to participate in CrossFit style activities and workouts throughout the week.

Outdoor Games- A mix of team sports, relay races, and fun outdoor games (field day style).

Fishing- Students will learn fishing techniques and have the opportunity to fish in our church pond every day! **In order to sign up for this track you must be in grades 3-5!**

Jewelry Making-Spend the week learning how to make all sorts of jewelry.

Basketball- Kids will learn the basics of basketball and spend the week learning teamwork and playing basketball each day.

Sign Language- Students will learn basic sign language and learn how to sign a song throughout the week. Students signed up for sign language will perform on Sunday, June 12th at the beginning of both church services.
Snack Times - with all the fun that we will be having, fuel is an essential part of our quest! Snack times will provide nutritious and safe food for your little ones so that they can have fun and learn about Jesus all day!
Kidsafe Workers - to ensure that your kids are in a safe and secure environment, all adult workers undergo a rigorous process of reference checks, background check, training and testing.
Regular Registration - Regular registration will be open until Monday, May 20th. Registration is $10 per student and includes all supplies, all snacks, and a DPKamp t-shirt! Track times are limited in space so some tracks may fill up fast. Make sure to fill it out as early as possible to get the track your child wants!
Late Registration - After May 20th, registration is still $10, but t-shirts will not be able to be included. We may have extras of shirts on the last day of DPKamp and an email will be sent out if so! Extra shirts will be first come, first served for late registrants and free of charge if available.
