PROVERBS 28:18-22

18 Whoever walks in integrity will be delivered, but he who is crooked in his ways will suddenly fall. 19 Whoever works his land will have plenty of bread, but he who follows worthless pursuits will have plenty of poverty. 20 A faithful man will abound with blessings, but whoever hastens to be rich will not go unpunished. 21 To show partiality is not good, but for a piece of bread a man will do wrong. 22 A stingy man hastens after wealth and does not know that poverty will come upon him." (Proverbs 28:18-22, ESV)

"49 For I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father who sent me has Himself given me a commandment—what to say and what to speak. 50 And I know that His commandment is eternal life. What I say, therefore, I say as the Father has told Me.” (John 12:49-50, ESV)

21 To show partiality is not good, but for a piece of bread a man will do wrong.

"12 “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.13 Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.14 You are my friends if you do what I command you. 15 No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends."  (John 15:12-15, ESV)

22 A stingy man hastens after wealth and does not know that poverty will come upon him.

" A greedy man stirs up strife, but the one who trusts in the Lord will be enriched." (Proverbs 28:25, ESV)
