Kingdom Realignment!

Matthew 4:17-20

"17 From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."18 While walking by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon (who is called Peter) and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. 19 And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” 20 Immediately they left their nets and followed him."

The Kingdom of Heaven is no ordinary kingdom!

"23 And he went throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction among the people.24 So his fame spread throughout all Syria..." (Matthew 4:23:24a)

"But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." (Matthew 6:33)

Jesus is no ordinary King!

"5 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus,6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped,7 but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.8 And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.9 Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name,10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Philippians 2:5-11)

"In the standard economy of the kingdom, kings are not servants and servants are not kings, yet King Jesus is both!"

True fulfillment is found in serving others!

"17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.18 All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation;" (2 Corinthians 5:17-18)
