Is coffee your thing? If so, then consider joining the CrossPointe Bean Team! Every Sunday morning we have always greeted people coming to church with a warm cup of coffee and doughnuts! The Bean Team is responsible for picking up fresh doughnuts, setting up the coffee bar, making hot coffee and greeting people as they arrive. Volunteers rotate weekends. Ever wonder what happens before everyone arrives on Sunday morning. The band is making their last minute adjustments, the sound/vision team is setting up, and the Prep Team is also helping get things ready! Bet you didn’t know we had a Prep team. The Prep team comes in about an hour before everyone arrives and places announcement cards in the seats, helps with preparing the Lord’s Supper, and just about anything else that needs doing. Do you find joy in serving others? If you do then the usher team is for you! Each week these men serve our guests by helping to find available seating if we're crowded. They assist in collecting the weekly gifts to the church and provide safe and secure transport of those gifts to the Church Office. Our usher team is trained to help people if an emergency occurs and they are some of the most committed men in our church! Are you as excited about what God is doing at CrossPointe Church as we are? Wanna help us greet people as they arrive. One of the things we want people to know is that we are glad they have chosen to worship with us every Sunday morning! That’s why we have a Welcome Team! Responsibilities include arriving to church slightly earlier than the crowd, check in and get morning instructions, and then stand at the doors and welcome all who arrive. That’s it! What are your skills? Do you know how to change a light bulb? Are you good at painting? Maybe you are a do all kind of person and skilled as a carpenter, plumber, or electrician. If so, you may want to consider helping us by serving on the Properties Team. As you can imagine there is always maintenance work to be done here at the church. In fact, quiet often there are new projects in the works. If you are capable, we need you! Have you got experience in sound engineering? Are you experienced with working with presentation software? Do you have what it takes as a graphics artist? Would you like to serve backstage by helping the band set up? Then the Sound/Vision Team might just be for you. We are always looking for qualified people who are capable of running our sound production, operating our lighting and visual effects, or just serving as a sound technician's assistant. From time to time we have been known to throw a party, host an event, or just have a meal together! This is where our Catering team comes in. If you feel as though you are gifted in the area of hospitality or that you can organize large group settings, then this Ministry Team might be perfect for you. Responsibilities include organizing, planning, and hosting our different events at the church where food is involved. Think you got what it takes to be a grill master? Then maybe the Grill Team is a place for you to serve! This unique ministry team is set up to serve everything from basic hotdogs to grilled chicken and barbecue pork to our ministries in the church as well as serving the community. Responsibilities include setting up grilling stations and tables, purchasing food, grilling food, and serving meals. Volunteers rotate as necessary. As CrossPointe Church has continued to grow, it has become more important that we provide security for those who attend and their families. CrossPointe Church Security Team is constantly monitoring the hallways, rooms and parking spaces to insure our safety. Responsibilities include patrolling the premises while being aware of any dangers or possible problems, handling situations as they arise, and assisting with parking on Sunday mornings.
